Vintage Italian Majolica Portrait Plate Charger Unsigned Deruta Style 12.75 bakelite It is becoming very difficultThis is a wonderful vintage Italian majolica charger or portrait plate featuring a hand painted portrait of what looks like a Roman emperor. The charger has some depth so that the rim is raised compared to the centre of the piece. The charger is unmarked and is not true tin glazed majolica, but looks very much like it was made in the Deruta region and based on an original Renaissance model. It measures 12 3 4 in diameter. It is in very good condition
